Morning CoSo…I have a question and have been avoiding asking it as I tried to find the answer myself and I just can’t seem to find it.
Question: can someone tell me what does the “sanitizer” button mean/do. (J if you see this I’m sorry for pressing it so many times the other day lol)

I believe that it has something to do with info, and security?
What I am sure of is that when I post a video and want it to begin at a different time (let's say I want to cue the video to play 34 seconds in) I have to use /nosanitize for the video to play correctly.🤷♀️

Sanitizer chops off the tail ends of URLs, which can carry information you might not want to expose.
However, should you want to retain that information, such as a youtube link that you want to start playing somewhere other than the start (like at the *good* part) then you can use the /nosanitize command anywhere in your post and the info won't be stripped.

Oh strange, it did when I tested it, but I rarely use that feature myself, so could be things I don't know about it :)

Oh I see now. If I click on the video link itself, it opens youtube in a separate tab and starts playing at the halfway through point.
But if I just click the preview image of the video, it plays inside the post and goes to the start.

The preview works for me from the midpoint of the video.

@ceorl can I ask one more question…is there such a think as a draft folder? I know I’ve started creating messages and then just not posting and was wondering if there was someplace I needed to go to empty drafts

No there are no drafts, just the text box you are drafting in.
So many little details in CoSo to protect us from ourselves :)
