@PapaPeugeot Depends. Sometimes they get moody (like the one in my kitchen) and will only cook one side of the plate while leaving the other side cold.

We had to replace our over the stove one a few years ago and now the replacement's turntable has stopped turning.
I dare not answer that question lest our 20 year old microwave hear me talk about it's surprising indestructibility.........
