What a valuable gift for both of you! I lost a beloved brother-in-law last summer, and the most important gift for both of us was the time we could spend together towards the end.

I remember telling a friend a few years ago, whose mother was quite old and fragile and growing weaker that death was part of life and he was incredibly lucky to be part of that while caring for her, even though it wouldn't always feel that way in the moment. I'm not feeling that way in this current moment, but I know.
