MAGA Republicans are forcing Kevin McCarthy to put their “30% national sales tax and abolish the IRS” proposal to a vote.
Anyone taking bets on it passing? I bet there are enough non-maga republicans that vote no or present.
It's just a performance for the base. They know it won't see the Senate floor.

What about all of us on a fixed income Social Security payment. Only the rich benefit from this, paying a smaller share of their overall wealth, as usual.
