Of all the alternate choices out there .. the only one that sounds half-way appealing would be Chris Bouzy's Spoutable.
But in all reality.. I'm truly burned out on social media. Over the years I have found I spend less and less time on various platforms. I just don't find fulfillment or joy most times.
I use Tumblr as a diary blog. FB for the memories listed. TW for news.
That leaves me with CoSo.. the only site where I feel safe and love the company. I will not be moving elsewhere.

I think the counter social is pretty good.
Although the dashboard takes a bit to get used to & stll finding our way, the no troll no messing policy appeals.
Its realy evident in the respectful tone of toots, even ones about negative viewpoints.
