@OldDeckHand Right, but the cost of electricity varies greatly nationwide. Here in WA where I live we get most electricity from hydroelectric. 7.8 cents/kWh. Next door in Oregon it’s even cheaper. No brainer to go electric here - save many hundreds a month. Not the case elsewhere, until a source of electricity not involving expensive fossil fuels is available. But, the article noted the emissions are still less for an EV, even if not a great deal cheaper than a gas car in some states.✌️
