As wife of someone who wks in turkey processing 27 yrs I'm telling you this: 1)avian flu forces a wipe out of the entire barn pop- sometimes farm. Yes that happens. 2)there are always poultry barn fires in the wintertime- they're trying to house and heat thousands of birds in subzero Temps and everything is flammable- this is not new. 3)Not enough adult birds,not enough eggs to sell. 4)Avian flu isn't going away.These trends will happen every spring and fall. NOT a conspiracy.
