Having the hardest time on a basic decision. 100% getting Pokémon Violet. 100% starting w/Quaxly. But I can't pick between Digital or Physical!

@JennCutter I always go for the physical option when its available. You don't know if game services will do screwy stuff like vaulting, or discontinuing older games 10-15 years down the road.

@MrBlueDot TIL so many of my old Nintendo games and systems are in storage. Which is a bummer cause I wanted to take a pic of my Pokemon collection, lol.
I'm too much of a hoarder to trade in games! I think the one Pokémon title I did trade was Ranger cause I was worried playing it again would ruin my DS screen ^_^
@JennCutter @MrBlueDot don't forget to get pokemon home, sometime next year the entire thing will be free and you can put all the pokemon from most of the newer games and the older mainline games into a digital storage and transfer to s/v
@Obzver @JennCutter Oh, did poke-bank go away? That was what I was using when I was still trying for a living pokedex on the 3DS
