#politics I live in AZ. I had a convo with a guy once about guns. He said if 'they' sent the military to his door to take his guns (no one is doing that), he'd kill them. He was taken aback when I said that is treason, not patriotism. That you don't get to kill people because your issue didn't win at the ballot box. I said you can contact your rep in Congress & the WH. He said, do you? I said yes and he was FLOORED. Disinformation. Fear. Aggression. It's spicy out here.

@MsJudyJetson having places like fox news "tell" them what's happening and not giving truthful information or context is why they think they don't need to take that moment to double-check the information.
@Obzver Yeah, Fox has been a firehose of disinformation and rage-baiting. Other media too - Epoch Times was my Mom's fave for a while - everything was blown way out of proportion and frankly, was deceptive. We need journalistic standards again and clear delineation between journalism and entertainment.
@MsJudyJetson fox news and now cnn aren't even considered a "news" network and have been legally defined as entertainment. It protects them from lawsuits.

@Obzver And honestly, if they took the time to really dive into issues, see what steps are being taken, and the incremental progress - the rage would go away. People have really poor memories.
