With all this said, https://counter.social does not accept payment for ads, and does not manipulate it's users feeds in order to steer folks to advertisers content.

But 'corporate' accounts are more than welcome, they just can't pay us to put them in front of more eyes, ya see?

If a hashtag, word or phrase is annoying you, filter it.

If a person is annoying you, block them.

If you don't want to block them, mute them.

I've tried to think of everything to make it so you guys can 'choose your adventure' so to speak, and am open to more suggestions once this crazy period calms down.

Change is *always* difficult, but this place has solid foundations. I am 100% confident that our culture will only thrive as we grow.

Some may join that run counter to that culture, but I don't expect they will last long.
