Sad news From Craig Baird a Canadian Historian. Charles is famous all across Canada. I wish the 3 times I passed through Toronto I had gone to the zoo to see him

On Oct. 29, Charles the Gorilla died at the age of 52 at the Toronto Zoo with staff & his daughter Johari at his side.

Beloved by visitors, Charles was known for his paintings that helped raise money for the zoo.

So yesterday I dropped into my doctor's clinic to make an appointment. There's a nurse there who always looks forward to seeing what new t-shirt I'm wearing and as I received a new one in the mail yesterday I had to wear it.

She was on the phone at the time she saw the shirt and nearly lost it 🤣 then gave me a high 5
