So I've stopped taking Ibuproin and am living with the lessened amount of pain. Thankfully the spasms haven't returned.
Why did I quit? Ibuprofin is a short term blood thinner. The place my cat jumped on my hip is a deep purple 6 inch x 1 inch blotch. Thank goodness my arm was over my ribs so that while the pain increased, there was no direct impact.
