I've come to the conclusion that most people seem to be willing to sacrifice their privacy/personal data if it makes them feel connected to the crowd. The millions that have left Twitter to go to Bluesky have gone from one collection agency selling heir data to another one, one that's albeit only slightly less so.

People I follow on the bird keep asking me to transfer over and when I tell them no I'm over here where privacy is the default, show them the comparison graphic, they still go.

@NorthernInvader my son told me he finally left Xtwitter when the blocking rules changed. How has that affected you at the bird?

@stuckinaredstate The change allows those you've blocked to see your posts but they can't respond so, not at all.
