Former PC prime minister Brian (brown paper bag - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Mulroney) Mulroney on the need for a Universal Basic Income. It somewhat surprised me but must remember that the PCs were intended to be socially progressive and fiscally conservative.
Mulroney was from the old Progressive Conservatives, before the PCs got stabbed in the back by one of their own and sold to the Reform and Wild Rose parties and became the looney toons Conservative Party of Canada.
