It was 3 years ago today (14th) that my sweet Dixie passed away at age 13 - I mis her constantly, especially when I go for walks/hikes. Given the prevalence of bears, coyotes, and cougars in the areas I used to go hiking I'd rather not go without a companion like she was.

My Abby left year ago and I’m still grieving. She kept me safe while we van traveled. Anyone who walked near our rig, she alerted. Loudly.
She was always on duty.
