@wyrmeboi Yes I've read about a few. I like the hempcrete because hemp removes CO2 from the atmosphere better that trees, and as an annual crop it is quickly renewable. I'm curious to know if they use less sand too as the extraction of sand is a major environmental problem.
@NorthernInvader There are several startups engaged in generating zero-carbon concrete. My favorite is <https://sublime-systems.com>. They not only use silica-based material rather than limestone, they don't use heat in the manufacture process (where a lot of concrete's footprint comes from.) #ClimateChange #MaterialScience
