It's been a rough two months, which pretty impressively wiped out a year's worth of gains. I'm cash-poor, opportunity-lean, and splendidly jaded about the future in a deeply hurting world.
But arbitrary calendrical shifts are nice little rituals of renewal, aren't they?
Right now I have nothing but personal projects, & I guess that means nowhere to go but up. But hey, what doesn't kill us makes us stranger. 🙃 Good riddance, February! Here's to March kicking us all in the pants a little less. 🤞
@MLClark I hope you have a much better March than February
@NorthernInvader Thanks NorthernInvader. Even if your February was decent, I hope March bests it for you, too.
@MLClark thanks - I hope the weather is up to walking - at 73 I don't trust walking in snow/ice but I need exercise.
@MLClark Sidewalk cleaning is the responsibility of individual home/business owners. Roads get decent clearing. However the 8,000 step route I generally take is over a civic pedestrian bridge (over the Columbia River) and along a city paved Riverwalk. City is a bit lax in keeping the ice/snow removed, and they don't seem to be enforcing the clean your sidewalk code, so hopefully this snow melts again soon
