So I grew a bunch of yellow cherry tomatoes this year and decided I would turn them into tomato sauce because why not :) Tonight's dinner was Fettuccine with this sauce and chopped Mammoth Basil and lemon zest.
@ATXJane I forgot to buy some pine nuts today - some toasted ones would have really added to the dish. I was also too tired to make my own pasta - that would have been even better
@NorthernInvader Ya got me there. I had red lentil pasta from a box I was frankly glad to find in the cupboard along with 2 unrelated jars of sauce over some ground chuck. Not bad if you’re soooo tired and hungry enough.
But make your own pasta? That’s the promised land.💖
