does anyone remember what it was like to go shopping before scanners & bar codes?
i think i was a wee kid but i vaguely remember that the cashier would have price lists and enter the amount of money each item was. there were no scanners. 🤔

And how hard they were to get off, so people didn't trade stickers with something less expensive.
