For clarification, Samhain is mainly from the Celtic tradition.

I'm an Anglo-Saxon Heathen, because my Lady Eostre is most known for being part of that pantheon, which is in the Germanic family that also has the Norse, and Saxon.

The Anglo-Saxon and Saxon heathens, we tend to borrow a lot from the Norse as it has the most intact traditions.

One of the nice things about being a modern Pagan, even though I'm a Heathen, we tend to share holidays.

Or, in other words, It's Samhain season and I'll be spooky if I want to! :P

I'm watching the Scarlet and the Black. It's based on a true story about the Catholic resistance in Italy during the 2nd World War.

It's a poignant tale of resistance, but also love, and hope, held even for those that wish to see you destroyed.

I highly recomend it. Gregory Peck, Christopher Plummer, you can't go wrong.
