#Gym Stats!
It was another push day and I came through just fine, no matter how it felt at certain moments. Working out has taught me how often I let how I feel at a current moment control that moment.
Between that and mindfulness, I’ve learned that I can step back and take stock independent of how I feel.
The result is progress on my goals. There’s a saying stenciled on the wall of this gym here. “The key to success is consistency to purpose.”

Because of my time crunch, and my resolve to try to remain balanced with my training, I did not push as hard today, but still got a solid #workout in.
I learned a while ago that if I push myself to the utter limit everyday I will end up injured. That doesn’t mean I let myself off easy ^_^
Two days to go for this week and I’m looking forward to it!

As I leave here tonight I’m reflecting on hatred of all things.
We’ve all done wrong, we’ve all done violence with our words. We are all guilty of not being our best selves.
But if we carry hatred, and sow the seeds of hatred, then we will only reap the toxic fruits of our hatred. That doesn’t mean that evil gets a pass, but that means we can hold the evil responsible with the compassion and dignity they did not show.
Onward, towards the dawn!

I pushed out to 40 minutes on my run and covered 4 miles and extended my second cardio session out by 5 minutes as well.
I’m making progress! I wake up sometimes and feel unmotivated, but that’s why it’s important to have a mission!
#motivation will come and go, but purpose never goes away. Once you know your why nothing can stop you!

It’s time for me to rest. I’m trying to get more sleep. It really helped me today!
Tomorrow, more reading, more plotting, more reflecting as I work out my next path. It’s not my most productive time as an author, but it’s some of my favorite times because this is often when inspiration seizes and suddenly I have a new manuscript to chase.
My life these last few months, seems to have found a renaissance, and I’m excited to see where it goes.

Mom called in the middle of my first weight session, and we talked about half an hour. It kind of threw my morning rhythm off but I’m grateful for the time.
I got right back on it though, and had a solid work out. I’m greatly encouraged by how I’m getting faster, and getting more accustomed again to doing the work.
Off to shower and do another meditation session! I’ll greet you all again afterward!

I’ve been hanging out with a buddy the last few hours and the day has kind of flown by.
It’s back to the gym in the morning, and back to work, as I’m certain it will be for many of you as well.
Please be gentle with yourselves as you ease back in from the Holiday Weekend. It’s always ok to give yourself time, you are so worth patience, and care.

Finishing the week strong. Tomorrow is a rest day, but there’s been solid progress and building this week.
I’m happy to see my endurance improving, along with my speed. As for weights, I’m noticing the numbers tick up, and with it my capability.
All of that said… Oof I am well worn out, but what a wonderful way and reason to be worn out!

The extra calories definitely had me in position to have a good session. My hamstring is still twinging a touch, but we’re holding strong!
Tomorrow is the last session of the week before the Sunday off day!
