From all the fox yipping last night, I expect to find cigarette butts & empties today.
They must be exhausted.

Foxes scream like women. It's crazy. And little terrifying the first time you hear it.
Crazy night. My neighbor warned me when I moved in. These were more like low growl yipping.
When I was on the PCT just north of Truckee, with the wildfires everywhere, I ended up in a very quiet spot as a lot of people were evacuating and going around, something I eventually had to do.
But that night, just after I got the call that my intended destination was about to burn, I ended up in a large campsite that seemed quite eerie for being so empty.
I remarked to myself it seemed like it was fresh out of a horror movie.
@LnzyHou @CinnamonGirlE In the middle of the night, as I was waking up, suddenly fox screams from everywhere echoed through the woods, and I laughed.
"This would freak anyone out not used to it, they'd be running."
