I finally got a call back from the Medicare and related services counseling service, same one that ghosted me months ago.

Got a different person, who promised to properly elevate my concerns and file a grievance. We also re-applied for Medicaid, and during the process discovered that we are actually _well_ under the limit for medicaid now, and there's no apparent reason for the refusal. Our last reason given was "n/a".

So, crossed claws but no confidence.
