@danialexis People can't afford housing, they can't afford food, they have tenuous job prospects, and childcare as you said is through the roof.
Its not exactly difficult math from where I'm standing.
@NiveusLepus Especially when my generation heard over and over "don't have kids you can't afford!"
Now the adults who told us that are like "why don't you have kids?" and I'm like "I had exactly the number of children I could afford, just like you said."
