It's easy to grow nostalgic about the past, but I was not the same person then, and I suffered a lot more.
With age comes wisdom and temperance. I know my body is going to get closer to failure as I age, and all of that but that's just what happens.
I have more reasons for joy and hope today than I did 20 years ago in the flower of my youth.
We all have our time, and that is a great blessing.
