I do not know how, but one of my emails got added to a GOP get out the vote list for Trump.

@NiveusLepus @TrueBloodNet I'm not even kidding. make a new account if you can and kill the old account, freeze your credit, and lock your cards, when it's safe to do so, Change every password. And make sure to triple check your financial stuff. Including subscriptions and auto draws. (nothing is worse for security then altright bs)
@vo1de @TrueBloodNet It's a very old email address from back when Gmail was in beta. I use it as a spam catcher, so I think its ok.
When I signed up for that email, I was still stuck in evangelical christianity so its likely from very old election rolls from the Bush Campaign.
I was a registered republican then because I was told it was a christian duty.

@NiveusLepus @vo1de I agree. Really the problem is that our country was founded on religious nuts who were ostracized in other uber religious countries for being too crazy for them.
Canada was better off because although founded by a religious group, it wasn't those that were off the rails. And they were tempered by more non lethal interactions with the native populations.
@TrueBloodNet @NiveusLepus those religious nuts are non denominational mega church religious nuts. I'm not even sure they have a religion, they seem conflicted on just about everything except money. They like money.
