Afternoon, friends! @NiveusLepus and I were talking about chocolate yesterday, so I just went to look up one of my favorite sources. It's pretty impressive and I do love the sea salt & almonds bar. Equal Exchange is another that I love.
So how about you #chocolatelovers share your best sources? I ask with no judgment forthcoming, but I imagine many/most of us here are eating fair trade, sustainable, etc.

@wolfwoman @NiveusLepus I can't afford that, sadly. But I only eat cocoa except that boston cream pie I ate but I limit myself to 2xyear. And I'm boycotting all Nestle products.

I can't afford much, myself! It's a small treat I choose over other expenditures, but all of us live with our own financial realities. I would send you some as a gift if I could!
I've been boycotting Nestle since I learned about their water thefts in CA. Horrendous.
@wolfwoman @NiveusLepus AND MI! But I've been boycotting them since the 80s when they killed thousands of babies in Africa selling milk substitute to people who had no way to do sterile anything, didn't understand the instructions and often couldn't tolerate cow milk.

All of the big corporations keep gobbling up the smaller ones.
Somebody is going to have to help me out here, because I read a novel about this a few months ago and I can't recall the name.
It's obviously dystopian and the premise is that everyone lives in the company town and 24/7 they are pushed to consume. Oh. Sounds like too many dystopian novels, doesn't it.
