Crisis averted. My daughter got a new iPhone today and of course it asked for an Apple ID verification code. And of course they send the code to her phone number so she can't get to it to enter it! Her computer is a Lenovo so no help there. What we didn't remember was that she could retrieve the code on her Apple watch! If she hadn't had another Apple device it would have taken a week to get it cleared up. Close call as she's going on a business trip tomorrow.
