Good morning groovy souls!
I am feeling quite fatigued today, in spite of solid rest last night.
It can be easy to get caught up in a productivity death spiral. I think many of us were raised with an idea that if we aren't pushing we're being lazy or failing.
But life is a journey, not a race. It's an adventure, as such it's a mix of slow times and fast times, hard times and good times, but all those times have meaning.
The ultimate meaning of being is to be. You are enough.
@csforyou That's a wonderful saying. I've been reading the Enchiridion in the evenings lately, which is a Stoic classic by Seneca.
It reminds me much of Buddhist texts I've read. He often speaks about how what harms is how we interpret more than the events themselves.
Much like the "being hit with a second arrow" teaching in Buddhism, if we react violently, if ware are not present and still, then we magnify our own troubles.
Thank you for sharing with me. It is joy!
@csforyou We are all connected. Though we exist like waves, we are all sourced from the same ocean.
@NiveusLepus Will need to dive into the works you´ve mentioned-
once I´m up for some more educational than escape reading.
I always find the overlapping iof the essencenc in Teachings coming from different cultural and historical sources so fascinating.. Common human core principles despite all differences :)
