@nursefrombirth I’ve read that Tuberculosis is one of the most ancient of diseases that has plagued mankind.

Many people, I understand, think of the old west when they think of TB, of sanitariums and what not, but I’ve worked in locked facilities, care centers, etc and my father was a nurse that worked in prisons and ER.

It’s still very much out there, and is a kind of quiet plague. Every now and again it makes enough noise to rise above the din.

May we soon find its end.
