I did that several years ago for my mother, it was great! Washington state to Georgia ain't no picnic (pre-dawn until after dark!), but it was so worth it! ❤️
@p3R1n01D I’m in Washington too! I’ve been in San Antonio’s area though visiting a friend for their birthday. It’s been an unusual October that way.

Yeah, not a time most people think of for travel. But I always liked doing things on the off-beat, things aren't as crowded.
I'm in Colorado now, but lived in WA twice. About 5 years in total. I guess that trip where I surprised her was about a couple decades ago, more than just "several years." Time flies. 😂
Flying from here is still a long trip, but much easier by comparison. Hoping to make it down there next spring.
