@NiveusLepus I have a frightening capacity for detachment from such things, even if they are happening in our country. Until the shit that hits the fan lands on my house, I find it easy not to feel too worried about things.

@Cynanthrope I am content that justice is being done. I admire the career of the prosecutor that was selected and think he's both qualified and impeccable. Beyond that, I think they have a strong case.
What the jury decides, I'll accept. We need to be done with this as a country.
My thought is to approach it mindfully. This is a moment that is passing. There is an after. There is always a dawn no matter the night.
@NiveusLepus Not mindfulness with my detachment, more "no one is coming back for me and I need to make sure that I secure my own shit for when it's only me."
Will be interesting to see how long Trump gets sent down for if he is found guilty of everything that he's charged with.
