I've been on twitter for about two years, and it's never been as toxic for me as it was for others. I'm part of the there which is an incredibly supportive group of folks.

The Indie there have been a never ending support, and helped me sell works while I've striven to do the same.

I'm still over on birdland. Many of us are migrating, but I can't say goodbye to those folks yet.

It's not all bad anywhere, and wherever I find myself I hope to bring a little joy.

@NiveusLepus well stated. I come from "weird" twitter, and it seems as supportive and kind (and nuts) as it's ever been.
Interesting to see how pockets of sanity can exist, despite the chaos.

@ayankdownunder I, myself, am strange and unusual.

It's the groups you find, more than the overall gestalt of the site itself.

"We can make our world a paradise, or we can make our world a hell"

@NiveusLepus true. Having been in that "group" (of tens of thousands) since 2009, I've seen the cohesion and support. It's not likely to wane, untIl the walls of birdland come tumblIng down.

Hoping some more follow to here.

@ayankdownunder I'm taking the current chaos as an opportunity to expand my horizons, all the while I hold out hope for the nest I've built over there.

Titanic rules. If it's going down, I can keep playing my violin. Might as well rock out while I can.
