Hmm. The sardines were super affordable, so I bought some even though I was afraid I'd find them borderline inedible to me - but lo and behold, I found I don't mind sardines that much!
That said, I also found out I'm not really a *fan* of sardines either. They're just edible, at least on their own. I wouldn't seek them out.
Maybe fried with tomatoes and garlic will be better. I'll have to try that some time.
@IrelandTorin May favorite is sardines and saltines. The saltines take care of a lot of the fishiness and give a nice crunch to the meal. If you really want to avoid fishiness, give sardines canned in mustard sauce is quite nice. Cheers!
