Going to toss this out...please don't hate on me.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine is crippling economies around the world, hurting everyone with oil prices, fertilizer & grain.
We are sending billions in military & economic aid... which is a good thing.
Would it be better if we just step in, add Ukraine to NATO, kick Putin the hell out of Ukraine (we now know his military is a paper tiger) & get things back to normal.
Wouldn't require boots on the ground & IMO, Putin wouldn't DARE use nuclear.

@Maude As someone who's had a TS-SBI clearance in a previous career, IMO unless Putin dies and Russia changes direction drastically, we either fight them now or fight them later - and it only gets harder the longer we wait.

I'm so torn on this.
I don't think Putin will ever give up on his aspirations of rebuilding the entire USSR.
