Is it that rare?
Two weeks from moving to NJ river town from sunny Asheville NC.
I’m nervous.
@LnzyHou It's just been a brutal hot and humid summer. No droughts this year because of all the downpours. Just funny the first nice day in a bit he exited stage left.
@LnzyHou I've been to Asheville on business a few times. I really like it there.
There’s a lot to like. Especially the weather.
@LnzyHou Oh, I was going to ask where you were moving too, but no DM's here, I guess. Wherever, do pay attention to flood zones. Especially if you are near the shore area down south. But up north too, we get some whoppers.
Don't tell me where on here. No one should know. Just be alert.
River town in northern NJ
@LnzyHou OK. Again, don't say what town. Just and FYI here: Lodi flooded very bad last week. Hackensack as well. Anything near the Hackensack or Passaic River you have to be careful. Down by the Hudson? Esp Hoboken, you may need a boat, lol.
DM me
@LnzyHou Ha! No idea how to do that on here, lol. Out there you should be ok. Very hilly. Not at all familiar with that area. One very good thing: Not a lot of humans there, lol.
@LnzyHou Yeah; like I said I'm not familiar at all. Just look up rentals and For Sales things and check on Flood Zone things so you know.
New apt not in flood zone.
@LnzyHou Good. I've had 2 nasty floods and am a phobic to living near water. Once down the shore we had a hurricane and up north where the landlord did nothing after another hurricane.
Lived in the Caribbean 7 yrs. I know from hurricanes.
@LnzyHou Well, we are done talking now, aren't we, lol. I could never. Great place for a vaca, but no thanks on living there.
