@NewYorkJellybean That people can look at the 80's and think that was good, rather than that was when the downward spiral really built up steam tells me that today sucks much worse than I thought.

@AskTheDevil "life was good" depends on the person and what THEIR circumstances were at that time. I was a kid with no responsibilities other than to go to school and try to become a good citizen. Now I'm an adult and life is different because I have adult things to take care of. All the memories I hv of my life in the 80s bring a smile to my face. In 40+ years, someone will remember their life in 2024 when life was simpler, for them.
@NewYorkJellybean It's possible if I'd been able to be a child in the 80's, I'd have noticed more of the fun parts.
