So we are seeing a doggie neurologist (again.) I feel like I am going to be ignored, (again.) so most likely, we are going to end treating Dexter in Mexico.
Damn, just want to know what is wrong with him? His headaches, if that is a thing with a dog, flare every time he has a skin infection
@Nadinbrzezinski Our dog had very itchy skin and neurological symptoms. They discovered it was his liver and eventually after tests and biopsies diagnosed him with chronic hepatitis that would sometimes flare. I only bring it up on the off chance it's helpful. Scritches for your doggo.
@EmilySuess he has a slew of allergies. He was tested. His head flares when he gets skin infections. If meningitis, I think it’s that, it’s not traditional presentation.
@Nadinbrzezinski does he eat kibble?
@pennyphilosophy prescription, he is allergic to his shadow.
@Nadinbrzezinski ah, sometimes the very food designed to help, does not.
@pennyphilosophy we finally got a diagnosis, junior has something common for his breed, unknown origin epilepsy. He is not in pain when he screams
@Nadinbrzezinski poorbairn poor mom and dad
so sorry
hugs and kisses xx
@pennyphilosophy what he has is common with chihuahuas. No known cause seizure disorder the kibble would make no difference. Will ask his vet about CBD, ironic since he is a retired drug dog
@Nadinbrzezinski understand. hope he improves 🫂
So why am I mentioning the dog? I wonder if women owners have the sam3 issue we have as patients with the medical system?
