I have to stop getting pissed at people for not understanding things. It is unfair and destructive and self-defeating.
If someone gripes to me about taxes and government in an offhand way, I immediately see the entire history of the Reagan disaster flash again before my eyes. And it pisses me off that they make government and taxes the enemy -- rather than Republicans, who sponsored this whole mess.
But saying, 'Are you fucking blind?' does nothing to further my cause. It just alienates.
