Meanwhile. After a 102 F day in October, some hens are getting ice dips to cool down so that they can recover overnight a little better. Not something I ever had to do before this year, the hottest year on record.

Sorry so late in responding. I lived in Wyoming & on the date you posted this many were getting their first snow ❄️ not able to fathom temps that high. LOL😆 I have friends in Casper & Evanston that couldn't even believe how hot it was in Hanford, CA this summer. Hell I couldn't believe it
