I guess i'll do an introduction. Hi everyone, I'm NLAWs. I'm an intelligence detective in [american city] with a background in #intelligence #security and #politicaltheory. I wrote about the growing threat of the incel movement in 2014 and I'm a #nafo guy committed to fighting #disinformation. I know more than a civilian should about military science and procurement and have strong opinions on the Spearhead class EFT and SPEAR-3 cruise missile. I'm way more #leftist than you would think.
@singlemaltgirl i work as a mix of an intelligence collection, developing information on criminal networks in my district, and a support detective, helping homicide/shooting/robbery/etc with supplemental investigation and resources like cctv cameras or license plate readers. I do a little bit of everything to get the right people the right information. I also do realtime support for patrol officers responding to calls, preparing them so they can respond safely and proportionally to whatever.

45 years old Finnish, Interest in #geopolitics, #NAFO #Miltary Active reservist in FDF as "Sissi" that role is quite wide in Finland for me it's LRRP and forward Observer etc.
We have a small but active "NAFO" group that tries to help.
@NLAWScametovisit Our biggest achievement is the creation of a citizens' initiative in Finland, which would enable a more accurate visa application against Russian citizens than is currently the case and open old visas for cancellation. In Finnish law, there is a citizens' initiative, if the initiative collects more than 50,000 signatures, the Finnish parliament is legally obliged to investigate and vote on the matter.
@NLAWScametovisit Our initiative was handed over to the parliament at the beginning of the month and it is now being discussed in the foreign affairs committee. OH, and let's not forget to BONK Vatniks when needed.

Introduction time? Okay! 50 year old American living in Germany. No military background (aside from an Air Force brat - dad was Vietnam era vet), but work in tech and frustrated by what's happening within a day's drive of my adopted home.
