@ecksmc I get the oops message when I click on CoSo Groups from the main menu on the right hand screen. I just assumed it wasn’t actually implemented yet. Is it up and running and just not compatible with my devices? And how many groups have formed? Very curious.
@Myrth yes it is up and running at my end so should work for all users
there are 36 groups available public from the group directory
do you use any ad-blockers ?? Ublock origin or anything else ??
either switch them off or allow, the groups URL, to bypass them
@ecksmc I finally got in with Chrome. My favorite browser is DuckDuckGo, as it is security focused. It works pretty well with regular CoSo, but I cannot even get into Groups with that browser.
Unfortunately, the security code is such a PIA that I only went into Groups twice with Chrome. I have the code written down, but for whatever reason it doesn’t save in my Chrome browser, so I have to go get my note any time I want to get into groups. And I guess so far it hasn’t been worth the effort. 🤷♀️
@Myrth also J is tinkering with the groups still
so, just keep that in mind
@Myrth yeah that code won't save in chrome as chrome won't see it as a site password
the code is for encrypting/decrypting msg's only
what you could do is tap your profile pic go to "my account" > security > and change the code to memorable passphrase < like > I-Will-Keep-Thi5-in-My-H3ad 😉
if you forget it you can always reset it from my account security also
