⚠️ 🌪️ Destructive Hail & Tornado Risk
A level 3 out of 5 enhanced risk for severe weather has been drawn by the Storm Prediction Center from Dallas-Ft Worth to Louisville, Ky. Numerous cities included. Damaging winds, very large hail, isolated tornadoes possible. MyRadar meteorologist Matthew Cappucci has the latest.

Meteorologist @MatthewCappucci will have a severe weather update video in the app shortly and storm chaser @JordanHallWX will have updates from the field as storms fire up.
The @NWSSPC has issued an enhanced risk (3/5, orange) to a large swath of the country - including parts of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
Very large hail, damaging winds and (some strong) tornadoes are possible.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas until 8 PM CDT

A QLCS — “quasi-linear convective system,” or a squall line with embedded kinks of spin — will roll through.
