We have a low pressure system forming on a front off the coast of the Carolinas. It will probably become Helene as it derives energy from the warm waters of the Gulf Stream.

It will move inland as a tropical rainstorm with gusty winds at the coast.

It's midway between the Leeward Islands and coastal Africa.
