My daughter is a guidance counselor in an elementary school soon to be an Assist. Principal. These School shootings have me on edge. My child does not deserve to die. She is good at what she does. And she would protect her students. My child doe not deserve to die. She is a good person and an excellent mother to my 7 yr old grandson. She does not deserve to die. Do you hear me? I am so afraid I'm going to get that phone call. I don't think I could handle that.

Earlier today I read the inspirational story of a college student denied her diploma bc of $$$ She has every reason to be proud of her accomplishment As the day went on today, I got pissed, down right angry. You see, places like Notre Dame sits on MILLIONS of dollars in endowments. Knowing her story, they could have opened those coffers to help her. Because of this I promise to triple my efforts to make sure any student that crosses my path is well prepared for their future.
