Being branded to one party or another is an insult.
Me, If you bring something worthwhile to the table, cool, donβt care what party you are, but with the current state of affairs for both? Nope, yβall can kiss my ass.
No matter the party affiliation, their purpose is to work for the people.
Right now, both sides are proving they are working for their party, and no one else.

Been an independent my entire voting life. Never belonged to either party, even when pressured by my ex (who was/is a politician).
For the past 16 years, the only party that is "working for the people" & supporting the life of democracy is the Democratic party.
The Republican party is laser focused on the "purity" of a white & evangelical christian minority rule.
To sit out voting is handing your vote to the GOP.
Cynicism is understood, but can also be the death of our republic.
@Maude being denied registering to vote in a Red state, being a legal US citizen, and legal resident of the state of Montana, feels like they decided my vote for me.

@MrMalignance Yes. I was suppose to test today, but it was postponed to August. Iβll register the day I get my license.
