Vehicle scan determined further damage. The new estimate is now $9,388.58, $2K more than originally estimated 😭
@SmirkingRaven i'd see if i could get what I needed at the junkyard but that's me. especially if coming out of pocket for expense.
@MrGoat I only need to pay the $500 deductible with insurance covering the rest, so I am lucky in that instance--it just means the repairs are going to take longer now.
@MrGoat I do but insurance will top out on how much they'll pay for the rental before the repairs are complete, sigh. I'll figure it out, it could be worse.
