@MrGoat No magnet is strong enough to stop bullets, as even the strongest magnets on Earth would not be able to exert sufficient force to stop the momentum of a bullet in flight.
@MrGoat@Alfred Since bullets are generally made of lead, then jacketed with copper, stopping them with a magnet is... well, not likely to say the least.
Perhaps with a strong enough alternating magnetic field, you could melt them in flight though...
