Dutch researcher Frank Hoogerbeets, who accurately predicted the Turkey earthquake three days earlier on Feb. 6, now says a mega-earthquake of magnitude 7 to 8 may occur in the first week of March, possibly on the west coast of North America,

@MrGoat He says the prediction is not designed to cause fear, but to warn. Even if his prediction is true, this warning is wholly unhelpful because there is nothing which can realistically be done about it. He's talking about a 2000+ km coastline for America alone! How can it help? Evacuation of 20M people in a week?

@Shamanator @MrGoat there's no such thing as earthquake prediction. Quacks make quake predictions all the time, and, by chance, one will eventually be right anyway.
