We live in a 4BR split level, currently with our bedroom, kiddo’s, a guest room for the occasional visitors, & the last one is hub’s WFH space. With recent developments, we’re cautiously optimistic that we will be in need of a nursery.
So does the WFH space relocate to a corner of the finished side of the basement, or should we merge the WFH with guest room (would probably take off closet doors to make a desk alcove), or do we relegate guests to a pull out sofa (which needs to be purchased?)
I chose guests on pull-out sofa unless you have regular guests who stay for a week or so. Then WFH basement?
Doesn't help, does it. 😂
@MotherDucker does your husband work at home all the time or occasionally? During covid, we set up a work from home in our bedroom for hubby. It worked great since I would get out of the room before he started and with all the kids home, it was the only quiet place for him. He is back to the office now but we still have the desk & monitors set up in the bedroom yet. (Laptop plugs in to the setup) He occasionally uses it still. Someday when our oldest moves out, we plan to switch it up.
@MotherDucker It's your space. Guests get what is allocated to them. Otherwise, go get a room at Motel 6.
IMHO, of course.
